While I love designing homes for home builders in Gulfport, MS, I have to create for the masses. By that, I mean keeping things neutral to appeal to more buyers. This means lots of white and off-white kitchen cabinets. Yes, there is no denying there are beautiful white kitchens out there. But I admit, I’m excited to see more colors entering the mix.
In the upcoming Gulfport model home in Oak Landing, I have designed a kitchen with three different cabinet colors: alabaster, natural maple with a vintage glaze and deep green. I’m always a little nervous until the end, but I hope they blend with the luxury vinyl plank I ordered. I chose a glossy subway tile and planned to lay it in a double herringbone pattern to add interest. Stay tuned.
